SIGN UP! Grant proposal workshop

Writing excellent grant proposals is very important if you want to become a successful scientist. The Research and innovation department at UIS have therefore invited Dr. Peter Sheard to give a 2-days grant proposal workshop 15th and 16th of March. Registration is now open, and we especially encourage everyone who plans to apply for FRIPRO in 2018 or 2019 to attend this workshop.

Dr. Peter Sheard has made proposal development his profession, and has previously been involved in several successful grant proposals from The University of Stavanger. His company Trend 2000 further has an impressive list of involvement in successful grants all across Europe and have hosted more than 150 grant proposal training events. You do not want to miss this opportunity to learn from an expert!

The workshop is specifically tailored towards the FRIPRO call from The Research Council of Norway (RCN), but anyone interested to learn more about grant proposals are welcome. Most of the general topics of the workshop apply to all calls from RCN as well as international calls.

During the workshop you will learn about:

  • Excellence in research
  • How to select partners
  • How to develop your project idea
  • How to communicate your research project in the proposal,
  • How to strengthen your CV,
  • How to set objectives, deliverables and milestones

and much more.

There are limitations on the number of participants for this course, so sign up today!

Time and place: 15th to 16th of March at AR G-101
