Are you interested in learning more about oral presentation techniques, research grant proposal writing or entrepreneurship and innovation? Then don't miss the 3rd PhD Summer School in Palanga this August!

To defend the PhD dissertation on time and to enter the labour market successfully are relevant to the doctoral students of all scientific fields in all universities. Therefore, this year's PhD Summer School focuses on the development of key competences required for achieving best results in this process, such as: management of scientific research data, writing of scientific articles and analysis of the subtleties of project management.

The 3rd PhD Summer School provides the opportunity for intellectually curious doctoral students to explore new knowledge, to expand cultural awareness and to exchange experience.

PhD Summer School aims to:

  • equip participants with essential skills that are necessary in all fields of science
  • provide participants valuable networking opportunity with participants from other countries
  • create and share friendly social environment at the seaside resort Palanga

Target group: 50 doctoral students from different countries, representing various disciplines.

Prerequisites. The PhD Summer School is held in English. In order to participate, doctoral students should have sufficient language skills.

The summer school is organized by UiS' partner in the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU), Kaunas University of Technology.
