ECIU updates 30.09.2016


ECIU Twin Programme in Mechanical Engineering on Bachelor level is established between 6 ECIU partner universities with the aim of increasing student mobility.

ECIU Twin Programme in Mechanical Engineering on Bachelor level is established in collaboration with the following universities:

Kaunas University of Technology
Linköping University
Tecnológico de Monterrey
University of Aveiro
University of Stavanger
University of Twente

ECIU Twin Programme is

  • a fixed set of themed semester package by each participating departments
  • institutions involved through their academic programme coordinators, academic deans etc.
  • reach agreement in advance on the combination of modules to be followed by the students
  • pre-established enrolment requirements for students for all participating departments

European Consortium of Innovative Universities

The ECIU is a consortium of research universities established in 1997. Today the foundation has eleven European members and a associate partner in Mexico. The University of Stavanger became a member of the consortium in 2012.
