FRIPRO Kick-off 26th of February

Are you planning to apply for FRIPRO from the Research Council of Norway? Then you must join our FRIPRO Kick-off seminar Monday 26th of February. A FRIPRO evaluator will share top tips on what evaluators look for in a FRIPRO application, and experienced grant writers will give their best advice for the proposal writing process.

The annual FRIPRO deadline (25th of April) is approaching fast and the competition for funding through the FRIPRO calls is fierce. The Research and Innovation Department (FIA) at UIS is therefore hosting a FRIPRO kick-off seminar to give you all the info you need to hit the ground running and get your grant proposal started. To provide insiders’ tips on what the evaluators look for in a FRIPRO proposal, we have invited Merete Vadla Madland, Centre Director of The National IOR Centre of Norway and experienced evaluator of FRIPRO proposals. Rune Dahl Fitjar, Professor of innovation studies at the UIS Business School has received funding from both Norwegian and European funding programs. He will share his expertice on how to turn your project into a successful grant proposal. Oddny J Solheim from The Norwegian Reading Centre has received several grants from The Norwegian Research Council over the past few years, and will share her experiences on how to succeed with grant proposals. We will also present the FRIPRO calls and information about the support provided by the Research and Innovation department.

Calls included in the FRIPRO portfolio are:

  • Mobility grants (0-6 years after PhD)
  • Young research talents (2-8 years after PhD)
  • Researcher projects (6 or more years after PhD)

Monday 26th of February, 09:00 – 12:30 at KA-aud 052
