International Staff Training Week at the Universidade de Vigo, 3-7 July 2017

The 6th Annual International Staff Training Week at Universidade de Vigo will be held from the 3rd to the 7th July 2017. This year’s theme is + 50 Programmes at Universities: Knowledge is power, age ain’t matter.

This year’s  theme is + 50 Programmes at Universities, "Knowledge is power, age ain’t matter", because Universidade de Vigo is an active partner in the Erasmus + KA2 project: Knowledge is power, age ain’t matter (KIPAM).

The event will thus address a number of topics relevant for colleagues working at universities in adult education and in the following fields:

- Teaching methodologies and curricula design for people aged + 50
- Social motivation and involvement for people +50
- Lifelong learning & continuing education for people +50
- Overcoming the digital divide: developing digital competences in senior adults
- Active aging, sports and wellbeing

The event will include lectures, workshops as well as opportunities to network, benchmark and share your expertise with colleagues around Europe (see the preliminary programme enclosed for more details). They’ll also have a parallel cultural programme and time to visit the campus and discover the city and its beautiful surroundings.

If you would like to attend this event and contribute to it with a presentation proposal, please send the registration form before the 31st March 2017.

The online application form can be found here.

Participants have the possibility to apply for ERASMUS + Staff Training mobility grants from their home institutions.
